One of the reasons you work so hard in the gym is so everything outside the gym becomes easy.! That includes learning and playing new sports! As a CrossFitter, you've paved the way to learning new sports by improving your fitness across all 10 Components of Fitness: Endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Balance, Agility, and Accuracy. By being in the best shape of your life, you make the learning curve softer and are able to be competitive faster.
I had the pleasure of playing my first organized baseball game in ten years on Sunday and despite a little bit of rust, I felt better than I have ever felt on a baseball field because I'm in better shape now than I was when I was playing baseball competitively in high school and college. Don't be afraid to try new sports or get back into some old ones!
