All your suspicions about us are correct. We are selling you snake oil, we're not telling you everything you want and need to know, and we're definitely keeping the best secrets to ourselves. Until now, that is. I'm here to spill the beans, to reveal the tomfoolery behind the magic, to tell you the truth. I'm here to give you the training secrets of the CrossFit Elite…everything they don't want you to know. Let's begin.
Secret #1: Just show up
Consistency is key. The moment you stop showing up is the moment you stop making progress. When I say "show up" I don't just mean "be a physical presence". I mean show up mentally ready to take on the workout of the day. Your excitement will only help you!
Secret #2: Work hard
Don't slack off! Every time you work out, bring that fire and intensity and come ready to crush the day's workout. The beauty of CrossFit lies partially in the intensity the athletes (that's you) bring, and you're only stunting your growth and progress if you don't have the eye of the tiger during every workout.
Secret #3: Don't quit
Quitting is the easy way out, it's how the weak deal with problems and you're not weak. When you quit CrossFit, you're quitting on yourself and the elite will never quit on themselves.
Secret #4: Eat clean
Nutrition is the base of all our athletic endeavors and by eating clean, you set yourself up for the best performances, the fastest recovery, and the sweetest body composition (say 'hi' to your abs for me).
