Day the first, you step onto the WOD floor. The next thing you know you're standing in the middle of the freeway during rush hour. Chaos, commotion and calamity as far as the eye can see. "What did I get myself into?!" you ask yourself. You eyes start to burn from the sweat that is raining down from your forehead and you can't seem to fill your lungs with air no matter how mightily you gasp for it. Your field of vision narrows, you can only see what is immediately in front of you. At some indeterminate point in the future you fade back into the reality that makes up our world. You find yourself laid out against the wall, after running a diagnostics check you can say with confidence that you're still at the gym and that you're still alive. Someone who was in your class ambles up and asks how you're doing. You tell him about the scene of absolute pandemonium that played out in your mind while the clock was running. He chuckles and through a knowing grin replies, "Yeah... This is CrossFit, it's like that for me too." Offering you a hand to pull you out of your sweat covered resting place he asks, "So, when is your next class?"
