I do some of my best thinking when I'm stuck in traffic. Frustrating for some, I look at traffic as a chance to sit and review my thoughts. I actually have a real excuse for not doing the things on my to-do list as I slowly crawl along the freeway. In case you were wondering, the excuse for not doing chores at that precise moment is because I don't have a helicopter... What I do have time for, is making mental notes about the things I need to do, process how I feel about things and re-calibrate my outlook on life. I find these little pockets downtime are great for staying on top of my chores, making sure I rehab my shoulder at the right pace, and keep a generally positive world view. How do you use your downtime to benefit the rest of your day? Sound off in the comments!
