Announcing the Weightlifting Development Series!
I'm pretty pumped about this...our next Development Series will be focused on Weightlifting! We'll be testing and retesting a weightlifting total: Snatch + Clean and Jerk + Front Squat. This is going to be a lot of fun, with a specific DS class focused on building strength, practicing skills, and getter better at Olympic Weightlifting.
The information session for this Development Series is Monday March 25th after the 6:30PM class is over (so around 7:30PM) and you'll be able to sign up starting then. We'll be testing the Snatch, Clean and Jerk, and Front Squat on the afternoon of Saturday March 30th and the DS classes will start the following week on April 1st.
It runs the same way as the Endurance Development Series did: you'll sign up, get a baseline in a specific capacity (in this case Olympic Weightlifting), attend a specific class each week for 6 or 7 weeks in which you'll work on developing those skills, then retest that specific capacity again!
The eliteEATS Cooking Class with Chef Stefan!
Join us on this Sunday March 17th, from 2PM to 5PM for a Paleo cooking class with the owner and head chef of eliteEats, Stefan Niemczyk! The class costs $29 ($39 for friends and family of CF818) and includes a short talk on the Paleo diet, practicing kitchen skills, and even preparing (and eating!) a delicious Paleo meal for yourself! I'm really looking forward to this one, and I've heard a lot of excitement from all of you about it too. There are only 3 spots left, so sign up quickly! Sign ups are on the bulletin board in the hallway!
Our Two Year Anniversary Party
