We've all been there: gasping for breath in the middle of a workout, legs tired, arms burning, shoulders feel like they're on fire. The only thing you're thinking is "gotta get the next rep, gotta make it through, just finish and then rest." Time seems to slow down and speed up at random, and survival becomes the only option.
You keep pushing, you keep hitting the next rep and the next rep and the next rep and finally, at long last, the workout is over. You collapse down to the floor to catch your breath. Laying on your back, you writhe around a little to try to get the burning in your lungs, legs, arms to stop. After a couple minutes, you relax and that's when it happens: the best feeling in the world.
The pain subsides a little, you finally catch your breath, and while laying in a pool of your own sweat, it hits you…you made it. You achieve the hardest thing you've ever done. That's what CrossFit is all about. Congrats. We'll see you tomorrow.
