The 2012 Olympics get underway today in London and you can bet that I'll be watching! As CrossFitters we specialize in not specializing. Our goal is general physical preparedness. To that end we use many different movements and exercises, some of which are practiced as their own specific sports. Over the next 17 days, I encourage all of you to check out the weightlifting, rowing, gymnastics, and track & field events, to see how the world's best specialists do in their respective sports. I'm sure you'll find that your experience of those movements and exercises will give you a renewed appreciation for the astounding performances you'll see.
