A couple weeks ago I posted a blog about Nima participating in a Half Ironman competition to raise money for charity - to date he has raised $4,151, and has surpassed his goal by over two-thousand dollars! Below is a copy of the blog post that details the cause and where you can go if you'd like to help Nima, other others make it to the finish line!
Our very own Nima will be participating in an Ironman 70.3 event (1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike ride, 13.1-mile run) in April to raise money for the Challenged Athletes Foundation. This non-profit group helps military personnel, law enforcement officers and firefighters who were injured on duty continue competing in the sports they love through their Operation Rebound program.
If you are able to, please click here and support Nima's fundraising effort. Any donation, large or small, will help make a difference. Let's see to it that he and others make it to the finish line!
