So you've jumped on the Paleo-train to awesome town and you're wondering how this whole thing is going to pan out. The truth is this: results come to those who are most consistent and dedicated in their discipline. With that in mind, I think it would be enlightening if I presented a log of what I eat during the day (from yesterday, Wednesday 10/5). Here we go:

So let's review. I ate more than 2 pounds of protein from various sources, had some carbs in the form of fruit (maybe a little overboard with the whole mango with dinner, but it was so delicious), enjoyed a lot of great fat from the avocados and olive oil, 100-110 ounces of water, a recovery protein shake, a serving of high potency omega-3s, and 1 wonderful cup of coffee. This is more or less what a regular day looks like for me. I usually eat a lot less fruit, but I've been on a fruit bender recently, and while the quantity of protein and fat varies slightly as well, this is a good amount for me and I function really well this way.
