Another week and another installment of "From the Perspective of a CrossFit 818 Member" featuring the thoughts of your fellow member, Edwin Belen:
CrossFit is so addicting. I've been going to CrossFit818 for a little over a year now, and in the first three months, I changed my contract two times until I committed to one year and unlimited. Since I signed up for unlimited classes, I WOD at least 5 times a week. You would think that coming to our box at least 5 times a week, I'd have my fill of CrossFit. Guess again.
If you're like me and thirst for CrossFit information, how do you get your fix? The following are ways that I've found help me learn more about CrossFit without driving our coaches crazy with questions. (Editors note: We don't mind the questions!)
1. Try reading the CrossFit818 site by reading about topics organized to the right side of the site. This should keep you busy with the basics and learn more about our coaches' thoughts about CrossFit.
2. CrossFit HQ has numerous sites. The two bullets below call out which two I frequent the most and why.
There are definitely a ton more sources out there in the world wide web but these are the three that get most of my attention. Trust me, just getting through these three gives me more than enough to think about when it comes to CrossFit.
Please chime in with places you go to learn about CrossFit.
Romina finally gets her bar muscle-up (and makes it look oh so easy!) Great job, RoRo!
