Happy Monday, 818! Here are your announcements for the month of May:
Memorial Day - "Murph" & Weekend Schedule
CrossFit 818 will be holding our annual "Murph" hero workout on Monday, May 30th. We will have a 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM heat that you can sign up for on the whiteboard in the gym. If you're new to the gym you may not be familiar with this workout - we'll fill you in later on in the month about who Murph was and what this workout means for a CrossFitter.
The gym will be open on Friday, May 27 and Saturday, May 28 with regularly scheduled classes and will be closed on Sunday, May 29. Regular classes on Monday will also be canceled, so make sure to get in with us that morning to do Murph!
5 Year Anniversary Party - Friday, June 3
While this event isn't taking place in May, we definitely want you to get it on your calendar early! CrossFit 818 turned 5 this year and we want to celebrate all of the good times and memories with you! Join us at The Famous (map) on Friday, June 3rd at 7:00 PM for the festivities - and don't forget to dress up - see you there!
Stronger Faster Healthier Pre-Order Sheet
We will be placing an order this month for SFH protein powders and fish oil. We have carried SFH at the gym since we opened and I can say that they do not skimp on quality - their products feature clean ingredients that meet and exceed the needs of our athletes. You can find the pre-order sheet on the fridge. If you have any questions about any of their supplements ask one of the coaches!
