Here are a few announcements for the month of May:
Rocking the Rocks with CrossFit 818
Tyler is coordinating an awesome rock climbing event at the Arcadia Rock Climbing Center (map) this Saturday, May 10th from 12PM to 2PM. This is a great chance to see how your hard work in the gym applies outside in a new environment. If you are planning on attending please make sure to bring $30 and RSVP to our event page on Facebook or write your name down on the whiteboard near the rowers. Also, you'll want to fill out a waiver ahead of time, there are copies available at 818 or you can download a copy here.
Whole Life Challenge Daily Logs
The Whole Life Challenge is in full swing at CF 818 - big props to everyone who came out and completed the baseline workout on Saturday! Remember that regularly logging your scores for food, mobilization, etc. is very important for staying on track and being accountable. All daily scores must be submitted the following day by 11:59PM at the latest, so make sure to take care of this throughout the duration of the challenge. Keep in mind that we still have over 50 days to go and that the purpose of the Whole Life Challenge is not to be perfect but to create better habits that lead to a healthier lifestyle!
Sunday Funday Hike & BBQ
Last month's Sunday Funday at the beach with CF Santa Monica was a great success and everyone got a great workout in! This month we will be holding a hike at Brand Park followed by a BBQ. Details to come later this month, but for starters save the date of Sunday, May 25th!
