We love working out and we love having a good time. We (the coaches) are here to give you all the best environment you can find to get a great workout: high level coaching, great equipment, small and accessible classes, and a welcoming environment. One of my favorite parts about this whole community is how much fun we like to have. There's never a shortage of laughs during class, whether it's from discussing recent movies or TV or just chatting and catching up with our friends.
So enjoy your time at the gym; you're gonna have a good workout and we're gonna have a good time while doing it.
A couple reminders and announcements: taking care of the new jumpropes is key. Until we can figure out a better solution, the way we have it set up now is the way it's gonna be. When you're done jumping rope, slide the handles together onto one end, then drape the handles over the pull up bar near the medicine ball rack. If you need help reaching the bar, ask one of your fellow 818ers to help out. Thanks!
Also: we're thinking of trying out a modified evening schedule of 4PM, 5PM, 6PM, 7PM, and 8PM (instead of the normal 4:30PM, 5:30PM, 6:30PM, and 7:30PM). We'll be testing it out starting relatively soon (late April, early May), but I'd love to get your input on it. We had some good feedback on Facebook when I posted this, but I want to get as much input as possible. Hit me with your best shot!
