"Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but we rather have those because we acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit." - Aristotle
You hear me say it over and over again: there are no throwaway movements at CrossFit 818. Nothing is done to fill time and everything we do should be done with purpose and focus. When purpose and focus are applied consistently in the context of your training, your nutrition, and your fitness as a whole, you can achieve excellence and, through that, your goals.
Train hard today!
PS: Tonight is the first Monday of the month, so we'll be holding our new monthly Nutrition class after the 6:30PM class is finished (starting around 7:40PM). This doesn't count as one of your weekly classes and is a great chance to either learn more about proper nutrition or brush up on your nutrition knowledge! Come ready to learn and ready to get some action plans :)
A. 1RM Front Squat
B. Max reps at 80% of A
C. Max reps at 60% of A
D. 1 Front Squat at 100% of A
*find your 1RM front squat, then move down to 80% and do as many front squats as possible in one set at that weight, repeat at 60%, then attempt to complete one last front squat at your 1RM weight.
