Fight Gone Bad is a workout many of you have had the pleasure of having gone through and it is our current CrossFit 818 Quarterly Challenge. On a much bigger level, Fight Gone Bad has become a worldwide CrossFit fundraising event during which CrossFit boxes around the world raise money for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation and the CrossFit Foundation benefiting our brave men and women serving in the Armed Forces.
I am proud to announce that this year, CrossFit 818 will be participating in Fight Gone Bad 6 with CrossFit LA, CrossFit Hollywood, CrossFit High Voltage, and CrossFit Pasadena in an awesome event on an enormous sound stage at Sony Studios in Culver City on September 17th. This will be an opportunity for many of you to meet new CrossFitters from around Southern California, get a great workout, and (most importantly) raise some money for a fantastic cause.
To participate simply, go to www.fgb6.org, register and sign up on CrossFit 818's team. Start telling your friends and family about the event and raise some cash! Mike Azana has already raised $230 (awesome job Mike!) and the top fundraiser from CrossFit 818 will get a special prize from me at the event.
If there is one event you all participate in this year, this is it! If you have any questions, please let me know.
