We will be holding the CrossFit 818 Combine next month on Saturday, August 15! What is the Combine, you might ask? Well, it's an awesome annual event that gives participants a chance to set PRs across a wide range of benchmarks. Here is a general overview of the big day:
The Combine consists of three 30-minute sections, and each section holds 4 to 6 benchmark movements. A timed mile run, max set of pull-ups, and a max set of double-unders are some of the things you can expect to see on your score sheet. During the event you will pair up with someone else in your group to count reps and keep time. Similar to other events at the gym, we will run several heats - you will be able to sign up on the whiteboard soon!
A full list of movements will be posted on the blog a few days prior to the Combine. For now, clear your morning on Saturday, August 15!
