Our first challenge is coming up on Saturday, April 9th and I wanted to encourage all of our members to participate. Each of you have your own reasons for CrossFitting, but it can be extremely beneficial and insightful to challenge yourselves in a way that adds context to your training. Sure, you are already seeing changes in your physical fitness and mental toughness, but now you have the opportunity to compete against yourselves and your fellow members in a challenge specifically designed to show you how CrossFit improves your fitness over a relatively short period of time.
On Saturday, each of you will complete the benchmark WoD "Jackie" and then you'll CrossFit for 9 weeks and tackle "Jackie" again! Look for details regarding the challenge on our 'Announcement' board. I'm looking forward to seeing all of you compete!
Max rounds in 3 minutes of:
135 pound Power cleans, 3 reps
Rest 1 minute. Repeat for a total of 5 cycles.
