Most of you have seen the CrossFit 818 Burpee Laws up on the board. Pretty straight forward and simple, the Burpee Laws serve to eliminate undesirable behaviors by attaching motivational consequences to those actions, namely Burpees. For those of you have experienced burpees firsthand (and what CrossFitter hasn't), you know how much you'd like to avoid doing them. The most applied Burpee Law is the one tied to tardiness; late to class = 25 burpees. We rarely see members late to class twice, so we think it is pretty effective!
And yes, the Burpee Law applies to the coaches, as well!
You can cry and whine and moan, as long as we can hear you counting! Yes, that includes the owner!
