Goldilocks can teach us a lot, from proper law breaking etiquette (don't fall asleep in the house you just broke into) to learning about people (blonde children are all criminals). However, the most important thing we can learn from Goldilocks is the concept of being just right.
Being Goldilocks means being just right. And really, that's all we all want to be: just right. We want to be just right for our next job, just right for the class we're taking, just right for our relationships. Being Goldilocks doesn't mean that you're barely passable or average. Being Goldilocks means that you are doing exactly what you need to be doing to succeed, excel, and thrive in the situation you're in.
Being Goldilocks means that in the middle of a workout, you're efficient and properly paced; you don't do extra work because extra work is on the "this is too much" end of the scale. It means that when you're doing your best to be perfect at what you're focused on at the time.
Being just right is what it's all about. It's what we all want, it's all we ever need to be. When you're just right, things go your way, you flow with everything around you. When you're just right, you're being exactly who you are, exactly who you need to be.
