The Winter Combine

The Winter Combine is coming up a week from Saturday on January 19th!  Sign ups for The Winter Combine are up on the Announcements board near the rowers.  Just put your name under whichever heat you want to be in.  Heats start in half hour increments from 10AM on (10AM, 10:30AM, and 11AM) and the whole thing lasts 90 minutes (heat 1 finishes at 11:30AM, heat 2 finishes at 12PM, and heat 3 finishes at 12:30PM).  The list of events will be announced next week.  Remember that this doesn't count as a class (it's free!), but we're only taking a limited number of people per heat, so sign up quickly!

The Endurance Development Series

The information meeting for the Endurance Development Series is Monday January 28th at 7:30PM.  This is a great chance to get more information about what this is all about.  We've gotten some great feedback so far and all of us are really excited to get this going.  Sign ups for the Endurance DS will be that week (between 1/28/13 and 2/3/13).  This is going to be really awesome.  Between the extra class (specifically devoted to developing endurance), the fact that the finale will be done at the Glendale Dash 5K right in our front lawn here in downtown Glendale, and the prizes available for most improved and best performances, this is gonna be a really good time!

New Classes

Don't forget that tomorrow night is our first Candlelight Yoga class.  It starts at 7:45PM and runs until 8:30PM.  Annie will be holding this Candlelit Yoga class once a month in addition to her weekly Yoga FIT classes on Sundays.

Also, starting February 4th, we'll be holding new mid-morning classes every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.  These classes start at 9:30AM and run until 10:30AM.  The best part is that we'll have childcare services during these classes, so if you've got a little one (or know someone who has a little one) and you wanna get your WOD on in the mornings, this is your best chance!

The Referral Challenge

Don't forget that we're holding our Referral Challenge for January!  The person who refers the most new members by the end of the month will be a free pair of new, custom Reebok CrossFit Oly Lifter shoes!  Get on it, the competition is fierce!

The Newsletter

Lastly, yesterday we sent out our first newsletter!  Let me know how you liked it and if you didn't get an awesome email from me yesterday then let me know and I'll be sure to fix that!
